How to view, add or remove a payment terminal operator (clerk or server) for the Payments app

Use the following procedure to manage the server or clerk users (operators) of your Payments app. Updating a terminal operator may require the default terminal operator password.

Tracking tips for each operator (clerk/server) can be done using the terminal operator ID.

To add, update or remove an operator

  1. From the main screen of the terminal, tap the Payments app.
  2. Tap FUNC tab. 
  3. Tap Operator.
  4. Type the operator password and tap Enter.

    NOTE: 
    If the operator password feature is enabled, the terminal will prompt for the terminal operator ID (server ID) before the transaction can continue. Contact us if you would like to enable the operator password feature .

  5. Choose an option:
    Table of operator options and descriptions
    Option
    Description
    View Operators
    The View Operators list displays.
    Add Operator
    1. Enter the new Operator Name and Operator ID.
    2. Tap Confirm.
    3. Tap OK to confirm adding the new user.
    Delete Operator
    1. Select the checkbox next to the Operator ID to delete.
    2. Tap Confirm to delete the user.
