How to view, add or remove a payment terminal operator (clerk or server) for the Payments app

Use the following procedure to manage the server or clerk users (operators) of your Payments app. Updating a terminal operator may require the default terminal operator password.
When the operator password feature is enabled, the terminal will prompt for the operator ID (server ID) before a transaction can proceed and the clerk/server’s ID will then appear at the top of the receipt. Tips for each operator (clerk/server) can be tracked using the terminal operator ID.

To add, update or remove an operator
- From the main screen of the terminal, tap the Payments app.
- Tap FUNC tab.
- Tap Operator.
- Type the operator password and tap Enter.
- Choose an option:
