SP30 PIN Pad Connection to the A80 Terminal

WARNING!
Ensure that you power down the terminal and unplug before connecting or disconnecting the PIN pad. Failure to disconnect power could cause the PIN pad to lose programming.

To connect or disconnect the PIN pad from your terminal

1. Press and hold the red Power button on the terminal for three seconds. 
2. Select Power Off.
3. When powered off, unplug the terminal.
4. Connect the PIN Pad cable to the PIN Pad port on the back of the terminal. 
5. Plug in the terminal and power on. The PIN pad will automatically power up with the terminal. You will hear a chime to indicate that the terminal is powered on.
