You can record detailed notes related to a customer, such as special shipping instructions, a birthday, or another important date reminder to build a stronger relationship with your customers. Customer notes can be viewed and managed in both the Back Office and in the Point of Sale app. Additionally, a Customer Notes report is available. 

To manage customer notes in Essentials Suite App

  1. From the slide-out menu ☰,  select Customers.
  2. Search for the customer and tap to select.
  3. Tap the Notes tab. The most recent note appears in the Notes section of the customer record, along with the View All Notes button, which allows you to review all of the notes that are on file for the customer.
    Add a note
    1. Add any additional notes.
    2. Tap Save.
    Edit a note
    1. Tap the existing note.
    2. Modify the note text.
    3. Tap Save.
    Delete a note
    1. Tap the existing note.
    2. Delete the existing text.
    3. Tap Save.
