EBT receipts
What detail is provided on a receipt for EBT items?
These details are provided on both Sale and Refund receipts for EBT items.
| Item | Description |

| EBT icon (circled E) | Flags items on the receipt that are EBT eligible. This EBT icon appears for eligible items only when EBT method of payment is selected in the Back Office. If the EBT method of payment is disabled in the Back Office, the EBT icon for eligible items will not display on the POS or the printed receipt. |
| EBT Amount Paid | Virtual and print receipts include the “EBT Amount Paid” detail for each line item. |
| EBT taxes | Virtual and print receipts include Tax detail for each line item and the “EBT Tax Exempt (Inclusive)” total line. |
| EBT and non-EBT payment | Separate subtotals will indicate the amount owed for each payment type. If the EBT card balance does not cover the cost of the EBT items, the remaining balance must be paid by a non-EBT payment type and may be taxed at the non-EBT rate. |

EBT weighted items
Is it possible to return a weighted item that was purchased as an EBT item?
Yes, you can return a weighted item that was purchased using your EBT card. When returning a weighted item, the POS will automatically detect that the item was weighted. A popup will specify the weight of the item. When the popup appears, click Done, and proceed to the payment method to issue the refund.
EBT Transactions
Is Cash Rounding supported for refunds on items that were purchased using EBT and another payment method?
Yes. If Cash Rounding is enabled, it will be applied automatically during EBT refund calculations and the accurate rounded refund amount is processed and displayed.
