Getting started checklist

There are a few steps you need to be sure to complete when setting up Online Ordering.

  1. Set up your content:
    • You will need images for online categories and products.
    • Plan how you will name things like online navigation categories and product names. You might want these to be different than how items appear on a POS.
    • Prepare an online description for your categories and products that gives customers the important information or specifications about the product.
    • Create a banner for your website.
  2. Set up your Inventory:
    • Create your inventory items.
    • Make sure your modifiers are assigned. Online Ordering will recognize modifier options, as well as the minimum or maximum modifier requirements you set in the Back Office.
  3. Plan how you would like to group items for online sales.
    • This includes any daily specials, sale items, etc.
  4. Manage your inventory alerts.
  5. Prepare a set of Terms and Conditions as well as a Privacy Policy.
  6. Think about what you want your website navigation to be.
