How to activate a user account and log in to the Demonstration & Certification Environment (DCE)

What's in this article?

During your Merchant Services account application, Demonstration & Certification Environment (DCE) access can be requested for testing. Each user identified during the onboarding process needing access will receive an activation email. If you requested access and did not receive an activation email, or if you would like to add users to your DCE account, call us at 833.344.2324 for assistance.

IMPORTANT! 
The registration link within the Activation email expires 24 hours after being requested.

To activate your DCE user account
  1. Open the registration email received from donotreply@support.cybersource.com. This email will include the registration link and your Organization ID. This ID is your 8-digit Merchant Identification Number. Registration email from Cybersource Support with Organization ID highlighted.
  2. Click the link to begin registration.
  3. Enter your Organization ID provided in the email. 
  4. In Contact Email, enter the email address provided during your new merchant user setup.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Create a username for your account. Click Next.
  7. Create a password for your DCE user account, then click Create user. DCE registration is complete.
  8. Log in using your organization ID, username, and the newly created password. 
To log in to your DCE account
  1. Open DCE, enter your credentials and click Login.

  2. Click to request the one-time passcode delivery to your email.

  3. Enter your one-time passcode and click Confirm passcode.

  4. Click Continue after your identity has been validated.

  5. Upon successful login, the DCE dashboard displays. The dashboard will be similar to the Business Advantage 360 Merchant Services view.

To reset your username and password

You can reset your password through the DCE login page using your email following the steps below. To reset your username, call Merchant Services Customer Support for assistance. 

  1. Open DCE and click Forgot password.

  2. Enter your Organization ID and Username. Click Submit.

  3. Select a recovery method.

  4. Copy the unique passcode from your email sent by CyberSource Customer Support.

  5. Enter the code in the Recovery Code field and click Confirm Code.

  6. Create a new password.

  7. Click Change password.

  8. Click Go to login screen.
