How to power on or off the Countertop A80 terminal

WARNING!
If using a PIN pad with the A80 terminal, connect the PIN pad before powering on the terminal. Connecting the PIN pad while the terminal is powered on could result in PIN pad failure.
To plug in and power on the A80
- On the back of the terminal, plug the black L-shaped power plug into the terminal power port.
- Plug the power cord into your surge protector (recommended) or wall outlet.
- When plugged in, the terminal should automatically power on and a chime will sound.
Power on/off
- Power on: Press and hold the red Power button for three seconds until you hear a beep the main screen wakes.
- Power off: Press and hold the red Power button for three seconds until the shutdown menu appears. Follow steps displayed.
