The Mobile Barcode Scanner T3320 is a handheld laser scanner that scans quickly and accurately. It can connect to your Station L1400, Mini Station A3700P or Tablet A3700 through USB cable to the Communication Hub or via Bluetooth.

What's in the box?

Your Barcode scanner will come with a charging cable.

Power 

Charge the scanner by plugging the USB-C end of the charging cable into the USB-C port on the bottom of the scanner and then connecting the USB-A end of the cable into the Communication Hub L1400/A3700P. 

Press and hold the Power button on the side of the scanner for three seconds until the circular LED lights up. Power off by pressing and holding the Power button until a buzzer sounds. The scanner will turn off after a few seconds.

Connect to the register

When you first setup the scanner, you will need to connect the scanner to the register through USB or Bluetooth.

To connect using USB


  1. Insert the USB-C cable into the bottom of the Scanner. 
  2. Insert the cable USB-A connector into a Communication Hub L1400/A3700P port. 
  3. Tap Connect.

  4. Press and hold the circular Scanner button to authorize the connection.

  5. The scanner connects.

  6. Tap Done. The scanner is ready to use.

To pair with Bluetooth


  1. Press the Power button on the side of the scanner to power on. Disconnect the charging cable from the Communications Hub, if it is plugged in.
  2. On the register main screen, open Settings.
  3. Enter the Settings password: pax9876@@
  4. Tap the green button.
  5. Tap Connected devices
  6. Tap Pair new device to initiate a scan for devices.

  7. Select your T3320 scanner from the list of available devices. The name of the scanner is the model plus the serial number of the scanner. A sticker on the back of the scanner shows the serial number (S/N).
  8.  Select Allow access to your contacts and call history, then tap Pair.

    NOTE: If this screen does not appear, use the troubleshooting steps below to program your Scanner, then retry.

  9. When the Connected devices screen reappears, log in to the Point of Sale app.
  10. Select Menu > Settings.
  11. From the Barcode Reader dropdown list, select PAX Elys Eye 3320.

  12. Click Save
  13. Tap Restart.

  14. Press the Power button on the side of the register and select Restart.

To troubleshoot Bluetooth scanner pairing


If your scanner experiences issues with pairing, configure the scanner:

  1. Press the Power button on the side of the scanner to power on.
  2. Scan this barcode to begin configuring the scanner:

  5. Try Bluetooth pairing again.
