The Mobile Barcode Scanner T3320 is a handheld laser scanner that scans quickly and accurately. It can connect to your Station L1400 or Mini Station A3700P via Bluetooth.
What's in the box?
Your Handheld Barcode Scanner arrives with a charging cable.
Power
Press and hold the Power button on the side of the scanner for three seconds until the circular LED lights up.
Power off by pressing and holding the Power button until a buzzer sounds. The scanner will turn off after a few seconds.
One-time scanner configuration
Mini Station A3700P Connection!
If connecting your scanner to a Mini Station A3700P, contact Technical Support for assistance.
Complete the following steps to program the scanner before configuring the scanner for the point of sale.
To program the scanner
- Press the Power button on the side of the scanner to power on.
- Scan this barcode to begin configuring the scanner:

Connect to the register
STOP!
Do not connect the scanner to your point of sale until the one-time programming steps above are complete.
After programming the scanner, you will need to connect the scanner to the register through Bluetooth.
To pair with Bluetooth with your Station L1400/Mini Station A3700P
- Disconnect the charging cable from the Communications Hub, if it is plugged in.
- Press the Power button on the side of the scanner to power on.
- On the main screen, open Settings.
- Enter the Settings password: pax9876@@
- Tap the green button.
- Tap Connected devices.
- Tap Pair new device to initiate a scan for devices.
- Select your T3320 scanner from the list of available devices. The name of the scanner is the model plus the serial number of the scanner. A sticker on the back of the scanner shows the serial number (S/N).
- If prompted, select Allow access to your contacts and call history,
- Tap Pair.
MIni Station A3700P pairing:
If this screen does not appear, use the troubleshooting steps below to reprogram your Scanner, then retry. - When the Connected devices screen reappears, log in to the Point of Sale app.
- Select ≡ Menu > Settings.
- From the Barcode Reader dropdown list, select PAX Elys Eye 3320.
- Click Save.
- Tap Restart.
- Open the Point of Sale app. Your scanner is ready to use.
Charging your scanner
You can charge the scanner using a power adapter block (not included) or through the Communications Hub.
- Exit the Point of Sale Solution app before connecting the scanner to the Communication Hub. Exiting the Point of Sale Solution app is not required if directly connecting the scanner to power.
- Plug the USB-C end of the charging cable into the USB-C port on the bottom of the scanner and then connecting the USB-A end of the cable into the Communication Hub L1400/A3700P.
IMPORTANT!
If the scanner is connected to the Communication Hub while the Point of Sale Solution app is running, scanner connection may be lost. Restart the Point of Sale app to reconnect the scanner.
Troubleshooting
If your scanner experiences issues with pairing, configure the scanner:
