If the kitchen impact printer is not printing, check the following:
- If no lights are on, confirm powered on and that the power supply cable is correctly plugged in to the printer and the power outlet.
- Check the paper roll in the printer to confirm there is paper and that there is no paper jam.
- Confirm that the ink ribbon is installed correctly.
- Confirm that all the covers are closed.
- If lights are on and the ERROR LED is not blinking, the printer is offline. Check the back cover and paper.
- If the lights are on and the LED is blinking, turn off the printer for a few seconds and the turn it back on.
At times, it may be necessary to perform a network reset for a printer when connected to your router with an ethernet cable (e.g., IP address is showing 0.0.0.0 or 192.168.192.123).
To reset the printer
- Turn the printer off.
- Turn the printer on while using a paper clip or similar tool to press the Function button for three seconds.
NOTE: The Function button is located in the pinhole on the back of the printer.
- Release the Function button and wait 10 seconds for a new IP address to be allocated to the printer.
- Press the Function button again. A receipt showing the Ethernet settings will print.
