How to check in/check out an appointment in the Point of Sale Solution App

A booked customer needs to be checked in when they arrive for their appointment and then complete check out once the service has been completed. Appointment details and actions are found in the Calendar. Any edits that need to be made to the appointment are completed in appointment details.

Check-in an appointment

If a customer does not check in through the reminder text or email sent to them, they will need to be checked-in upon arrival.

To check-in to an appointment

  1. In the , tap Calendar.

  2. Locate and tap the desired appointment.
     

  3. Tap Checked-in.

Check-out

You have the option of completing check-out while the appointment is booked or anytime after it has been created.

To check-out during booking


  1. Create an appointment.
  2. Tap Pay.
     
  3. Swipe through the options and tap to select the payment tender type. 
     
  4. Tap Continue. Follow the prompts to complete the payment.
     
  5. Your customer can select  a tip option:

To check-out an existing appointment


  1. In the , tap Calendar.

  2. Tap the desired appointment.

  3. Tap Checked out if the appointment has been checked in.
     
  4. Tap Pay.

  5. Select a payment type by swiping through the payment options.
     
  6. Tap Continue
     
  7. Your customer can select a tip option:
    • Preset Tip: Select a preset tip option. Tap Continue
    • Custom Tip Amount: Tap the Custom Tip Amount field and enter a dollar amount. Tap Continue.
    • No Tip: Tap No Tip.

  8. Tap Continue
