Use Quick Sale to take a payment for an item that is not pre-defined in your inventory. The Quick Sale screen is the default screen that displays after login to the MobilePOS app on your device.
To take a Quick Sale payment
Enter the amount for the sale. To quickly add several items together, use the keypad as a calculator.
(Optional) Enter a description for the sale.
Tap Checkout.
Add an order number or a note, if desired. The tax options for your sale will be determined by your tax settings.
(Optional) In Pay field, enter the cash amount tendered by the customer. The change due will appear.
Tap Pay.
NOTE: Cash transactions are for tracking purposes only and are not included in the settlement amount or deposit. Cash transactions will not be visible in your Merchant Portal reporting in Business Advantage 360, but can be tracked in MobilePOS Dashboard reports.
For chip card transactions, insert the card with the chip side first and face up.
Pay attention to the track position of the magnetic stripe card. Swipe the card smoothly from either direction at a constant speed as shown.
To use a contactless payment, hold the card or device within two inches of the top of the mobile card reader near the contactless icon. If using a mobile device, the customer must approve the payment on their device.
Once all the needed information is entered, tap Pay.
If the Address Verification prompt appears, choose Yes to continue the transaction or No to cancel.
This prompt appears if the ZIP code or address entered for the payment does not match the card information on record at the issuing bank.
IMPORTANT! Continuing the transaction may result in increased risk of fraud.
