  • In this video,
  • you'll learn how to navigate the Activity Summary,
  • the Sales and Customer Dashboards.
  • Use the Store Summary, view the Item Sales report,
  • navigate the Employee Activity report,
  • and view the Customer Sales report.
  • To begin, go to pointofsale.bofamerchantservices.com
  • Then, log in
  • to Bank of America Essentials Solution Back Office.
  • To begin, select the My Store tab
  • to view the Activity Summary screen.
  • The Activity Snapshot will give you a high level summary
  • of your store's sales and transaction activities.
  • This snapshot shows your activity
  • for the selected date compared to the previous day,
  • or the same day of the previous week.
  • The Activity Summary defaults to the current date,
  • but you can click the calendar icon
  • to select a specific date.
  • You can also see your average sale,
  • tips collected, taxes due,
  • the number of returns for the date,
  • and a breakdown of activity by payment types.
  • In the Activity Summary snapshot view
  • you can use the Last Six Week Trend view
  • to see a graphical depiction of your activity
  • for the last six weeks.
  • This view defaults to Sales,
  • but you can click the dropdown
  • and select, Transactions
  • to view that six week trend.
  • Select the View More link
  • to display the Sales Dashboard.
  • To view the full Store Summary report,
  • click the View Report link in the main snapshot window.
  • The Alerts section highlights unusual sales activit
  • or other important information
  • from the past seven days
  • that may need your attention.
  • To learn more about an alert, click the More link
  • for additional information.
  • You'll also find the Discounts & Offers sections
  • in the Activity Summary,
  • showing the impact of your discounts and offers.
  • To view more detailed information,
  • click the View Report link
  • and the system will display
  • the detailed Discounts & Promotions report.
  • Click My Store to return to the Activity Summary screen.
  • The Email Campaign sections show the impact
  • of your email marketing campaigns.
  • To view more detailed information,
  • click the View More link
  • and the system will display the Customer Dashboard.
  • To view a real time snapshot of your business,
  • select Sales Dashboard under the My Store navigation.
  • The graphs you see will depend on the option you choose
  • at the top of the screen.
  • The Sales Dashboard includes three major sections,
  • Sales, Profits, or Transactions.
  • Choose from one of the default timeframes
  • or enter a specific timeframe.
  • The vertical axis represents the metric chosen
  • and the horizontal axis represents time.
  • You can also choose to view the Daily Total, Hourly,
  • or Half-hourly Average using the buttons located
  • in the top right corner of the screen.
  • The Daily Total displays data for entire days,
  • the Hourly Average displays the typical results
  • at a given hour,
  • and the Half-hourly Average displays the results
  • in 30-minute increments.
  • Category Breakdown and Category Trend
  • allows you to select
  • and view trends and items sales for each category.
  • To view a category trend,
  • click on one of the bars in the Category Breakdown section
  • to display the chart on the right.
  • Category Items allows you to view item sales
  • for a selected category.
  • You can sort the selected categories items
  • by clicking on any of the column headers.
  • The Customer Dashboard allows you to view customer tracking
  • and marketing information from your active email campaigns.
  • Select the My Store tab
  • then select the Customer Dashboard subtab.
  • The Customer Dashboard includes three sections
  • Email Marketing, Top 10 Customers, and Subscribed Customers.
  • This dashboard also offers a view
  • of customers reached and sales made.
  • The Store Summary report is a synopsis
  • of total sales gathered from all devices
  • and all employees active on a given day.
  • To run a store summary report,
  • select the Results tab
  • and then the Reports subtab.
  • Select Store Summary under Operations
  • in the left column.
  • The report defaults to, Today,
  • but you can select a date range at the top.
  • To view your report, select the refresh button
  • at the top right.
  • The Store Summary report
  • will show your Gross Sales, Net Sales,
  • Ticket Total, Payment Types, Tax Categories,
  • No Sales, Discounts, Price Overrides,
  • and Cleared Tickets and Items.
  • You can also print
  • or export this report to one of several available formats.
  • The Items Sales report will show you
  • how specific items are selling over a specified time period.
  • To access the Item Sales report,
  • select the Results tab
  • and then the Reports subtab
  • and then select Item Sales under Sales in the left column.
  • To run a report, select the desired date range.
  • To view your report, select the refresh button
  • at the top right.
  • You can also print or export the report.
  • The Employee Activity report makes it easy
  • for businesses with multiple cashiers
  • to view the activity for each cashier.
  • Cashier activity is captured
  • when an employee logs onto the point of sale app
  • using their individual pin.
  • The Employee Activity report
  • will accurately reflect activity at the employee level.
  • To access the Employee Activity report
  • select the Results tab, and then the Reports subtab.
  • Then select Employee Activity
  • under Operations in the left hand column.
  • To run a report, select the desired date range.
  • To view your report, select the refresh button
  • at the top right.
  • You can also print or export the report.
  • The Customer Sales report provides a detailed sales history
  • for each of your customers.
  • To access the Customer Sales report,
  • select the Results tab
  • then the Reports subtab, and then select Customer Sales.
  • To run the report, select the date range at the top.
  • To view your report, select the refresh button
  • at the top right.
  • The Customer Sales report includes, customer name,
  • contact info, date of last purchase,
  • the number of times the customer has visited your store,
  • and more.
