Description

How to manually set the time zone

What's in this article?

The Android operating system of the terminal automatically manages the date and time, based on the geolocation of the terminal.  If the terminal is located in a time zone that observes Daylight Savings Time (DST), the time will automatically update at the appropriate time. You can manually set the time zone if desired.

To set the time zone manually

  1. From the terminal home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Enter the password and press OK.
  3. Scroll down and tap Date and Time
  4. Turn off Automatic time zone. The Select time zone option becomes active.
  5. Tap Select time zone.
  6. Scroll and tap the desired terminal location time zone (Eastern Daylight Time, Central Daylight Time, Mountain Standard Time (Arizona), Mountain Daylight Time, or Pacific Daylight Time). Once the new time zone is selected, the time in the terminal will automatically adjust for the new time zone. Setting the time will not be necessary.
  7. Press the red Cancel key until the terminal’s idle display appears.

NOTE:
