How to view transaction activity and details, export transactions, reprint a receipt or edit the layout of the Transaction Details page in your Merchant Services account in online banking

View transaction activity

You can view transaction activity that has occurred within the last 7 days or use the date range filter to see activity for a particular date range.

To view recent transactions
  1. Log in to your Merchant Services account in Business Advantage 360 online banking. 
  2. Select Transactions > Transaction List to view all transactions performed in the past 7 days.
  3. If desired, use the date range filter to select a different time period. You can view up to the last 13 months of transactions.
  4. Locate the transaction that you would like to review and select the hyperlink in the Request ID column to view the Transaction Details.

View transaction details

The Transaction Details page contains several types of information pertaining to the transaction you are viewing. Depending on the type of transaction, its status, and services you use, one or more of these sections may not appear, or contain no information.

Error InformationIf an error occurred during the transaction, the error reason code and error reason display. 
Order InformationBasic information about the transaction order.
Transaction HistoryDisplays all transactions based on the same payment information.
Related TransactionsDisplays subscriptions created using the transaction payment information.
Request InformationDescribes how the transaction was processed, by which applications, and provides a log for the transaction processing.
Customer InformationContains the billing and shipping information associated with the customer.
Similar SearchesProvides options to search for other transactions that share similar attributes.
Payment InformationDescribes the method used to fund the transaction and a link to view the associated token.
Offer DetailsSpecific line-item information.
Merchant Defined DataValues for any custom fields you have created for your business.
Payer Authentication InformationRequest and response data for payer authentication transactions.
Enhanced Payment DetailsDisplays supplemental transaction details.
Payment ChannelDisplays device information for card present transactions.

View or print a receipt

Select the More options menu on the Transaction Details page to view and print receipt information.  Other actions might also be available depending on the status of the transaction. You can view, email a copy, print, or download a substitute receipt with basic transaction information. This option is only available after settlement.

To access the Print Preview, View Receipt and Edit Layout menu

  1. Log in to your Merchant Services account in Business Advantage 360 online banking. 
  2. From the left navigation, select Transactions > Transaction List. The Transaction List page appears, showing all transactions performed in the past 7 days.
  3. Transactions performed in the last 7 days will appear. Click the Date Range filter to change this range as needed. You can view up to the last 13 months of transactions.
  4. Locate the transaction that you would like to review and select the hyperlink in the Request ID column. Transaction Details page will display.
  5. Select the ⋮ menu in the upper right-hand corner to Print Preview, View Receipt or Edit Layout
Print Preview

Print preview allows you to view and print a receipt in a format that can be easily understood. No changes can be made from this page.

View Receipt

View receipt allows you to view a substitute receipt with basic transaction information. From this page, you are also able to email a copy, print and download the receipt. This option will only be available after settlement.

NOTE:
The Merchant ID (MID) does not appear on the receipt, per Visa regulations.

Edit Transaction Detail layout

You can edit which modules display and where they are placed on the Transaction Details page.

  1. Click ⋮ More options menu.
  2. Select Edit Layout.
  3. Click the left and right arrow buttons, action buttons, remove buttons, and add card buttons to customize your Details page.
  4. Once complete, click Save.

Export transactions

You can export up to 2500 transaction search results from the Transaction List in either .CSV or .JSON format. The file contains the information displayed in the Transaction List, including any customization's you make to the list and any filters you have applied. If the number of results of your search exceeds 2500, you will need to filter your results further prior to export. 

To export a list of transactions
  1. From Transactions > Transactions List, click Export and choose either CSV for importing to Excel or JSON for integration. 
  2. Follow your browser's instructions to open and save the file.

Edit Transaction Details layout

You can edit which modules appear in the Transaction Detail view. 

To edit the Transaction Details layout
  1. From Transactions > Transactions List, select More > Edit Layout.
  2. Use the available options to customize the page.
  3. Once complete, click Save.
